Illadulla to Sydney

Not too far today. We set off in 13 degrees so still a bit chilly. After a quick visit to the seaside village of Mollymook we headed north on the main highway. Mollymook is a very pretty little place that we stayed at a couple of years ago for the wedding of Chris and Liv, Robyn’s nephew. Lots of people having their morning coffee and even a couple of hardy swimmers.

So back on the road in line with our plan to get up north as quickly as possible. Our reasoning is that we have seen quite a bit of this area and we want to get up north before the wet season hits North Queensland and the Northern Territory.

In the early afternoon we hit the outskirts of Sydney and negotiated the traffic through this very busy city to Manly where Robyn’s sister lives.

Malcolm met me with a beer and we had a very nice meal and caught up with other family
